Degree Verification — Kuwaitis and Expats Warned to Meet Deadline

The Ministry ofEducation (MoE) has started thesecond phase of the inventory of employees academic certificates above the high school level. This confirms the completion of the first phase of the inventory of academiccertificates of employees both citizens and expatriates.It is in response to the request of the Educational Certificate ExaminationCommittee to inventory the certificates of allemployees in government agencies and theprivate sector. In a press statement, theministry clarified that this phase includes all employees (Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis) who obtained their academic qualifications from Jan 1, 2000 onwards; those who did not submit their certificates during the first phase; those who obtained new qualifications; and the newly appointed employees.Acting Undersecretary of the ministryMohammad Al-Khalidi issued a generalcircular urging the employees to access theofficial website of the ministry, specifically the’Administrative Services’ icon – My Academic Certificates and uplogd a photocopy of the academic qualification and equivalencyissued by the Ministry of Higher Education.
